Worthing Pier Greetings Card
Worthing Pier first opened in 1862. Like many of its Victorian counterparts, the pier has heroically survived storms, fire and two world wars (with a bit of rebuilding in between).
Its present incarnation dates back to the 1930's, when two pavilions were added in the 'Streamline Moderne' style. Their lovely curved shape and port holes give the pier a jaunty air. With its simple amusements, popular fishing deck and tea room, this is a people's pier, and perfect for a sunday stroll!
